COMPOSITE PANEL
COLORS AND SURFACES
COLOR STANDARDS
The color coating complies with American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AAMA) 2605-13 standard where rigorous test procedures are necessary to ensure that the product has excellent surface durability, extremely resistant against the sunlight, weather, and pollution.
Criteria for testing color quality

Composite Panels are coated with high-quality paints from world-renowned manufacturers such as Beckers, PPG, and Valspar. The guidelines set by the manufacturers are strictly followed throughout the coating process, to ensure that the product meets the highest standards.
COLOR SYSTEM
PVDF
(Poly Vinylidene Fluoride)
PVDF is a color system recognized by world-leading architects and is the best innovation coating for exterior building applications. The chemical composition of PVDF is the cause of this system of color coating resistance to all weather conditions, UV rays, acid rain, light alkali, and scratch resistance is better than other systems. This system provides a guarantee of color quality for up to 20 years.
FEVE
(Fluoroethylene Vinyl Ether)
FEVE is a color coating innovation developed from the PVDF color system to meet the bright and high gloss colors. FEVE has more colors than PVDF offers Earth Tones, but the nature of bright and high gloss colors, thus giving a 10-year warranty on color quality.
HDP
(High Durable Polyester)
Polyester coatings are particularly strong and durable by the coating process with polyester resins and pigments together with a solvent then go through the process of baking at high temperatures. Good resistance to sunlight and weather. Suitable for both exterior and interior decoration. This system provides a guarantee of color quality for up to 10 years.
ELEMENT OF PAINT
Kynar 500 resin for PVDF and FEVE
Resin is the main component that establishes the performance of paint. Produced in the well proven 70:30. Kynar 500 two-coats and two-baked system, to ensure that it held its original color in the face of airborne pollutants and atmospheric aging.
High-quality pigment from Beckers and PPG
Composite Panels are coated with high-quality paints from world-renowned manufacturers such as Beckers, PPG, and others. The coating standards set by the manufacturers are strictly followed throughout the coating process, to ensure that the product meets the highest standards.
Solvent
Liquid organic compounds are solvents of resins for adjusting viscosity and flow properties. As well as control the evaporation rate and boiling point of the paint.
Additive
Additives to enhance the paint’s performance, such as sunlight resistance, hydrochloric acid, color adhesion, gloss, or reduce the reflection of light incident on the paint and extend the life of various shades, etc.
COLOR COATING PROCESS
The most important step in the aluminium coating process is a process of roller coating with an automatic and continuous system. A coiled metal sheet is positioned at the beginning of the line and unwinds at a constant speed, passing through various pre-treatment and coating processes before being recoiled. A high-tech manufacturing process to control variables results in the highest quality color-coated aluminium to ensure that the coating is consistent and undergoes the correct curing oven process at the right temperature and time.

COLOR WARRANTY
The warranty covers the defect on the surface of the product (crack, chip, peel) and permissible fading of the color coating. Please consult our sales representatives about your requirements to seek the most appropriate solution as the warranty varies according to each type of color coating.
